Tim Palmer joined PMA Asset Management in 2020 and has senior portfolio management accountabilities for institutional insurance clients and fixed income total return mandates. Tim also co-leads PMA’s credit team, guiding the firm’s research and trading efforts in the corporate sectors of the fixed income market. Tim has been in the investment industry for over 30 years with extensive leadership experience including Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager for TIAA Nuveen Asset Management where held a leadership role for the teams multi sector and credit strategies. Prior to Nuveen Tim was a Senior Portfolio Manager at American Express (now Columbia). Tim earned his BA in Economics at the University of St. Thomas and an MBA in Finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. Tim is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
