Andrew Kim
Andrew Kim joined PMA Securities in 2015. He has been in the public finance industry since 2009 as both an investment banker and a municipal advisor, and has extensive experience structuring numerous bond issues worth hundreds of millions of dollars in par amount. While at his prior firms, his primary responsibilities have included providing quantitative and qualitative research, financial analysis, and client support for local government and non-profit clients. At PMA Securities, Mr. Kim is responsible for expanding PMA’s Public Finance footprint among municipal units of government in the northern region of the State of Illinois. Mr. Kim’s education includes a bachelor of arts in economics from Northwestern University and a master of public policy from the University of Chicago. He holds FINRA Series 7, Series 50, and Series 63 licenses. Mr. Kim is a member of the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA), the Illinois Library Association (ILA), the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD), and the Illinois Association of School Business Officials (IASBO). Over the last several years, he has presented numerous times at various IGFOA, ILA, IAPD, and PMA seminars.
