PMA/WISC Achieves Significant Milestone –
Reaching $3B in Fund Assets
PMA, a premier full-service provider of financial and advisory services to local governments, along with the Wisconsin Investment Series Cooperative (WISC), achieved a significant milestone by surpassing $3 billion in assets in WISC and its Fixed Rate Investment program as of July 13, 2022.
Since 1988, WISC has earned a well-deserved reputation among Wisconsin public entities as an investment opportunity known for its excellent performance built around safety, liquidity and yield. WISC Participants benefit from a full range of cash management and investment services as the Fund provides a vehicle for investment in U.S. government obligations, agencies, commercial paper and other high-quality short-term instruments. WISC is governed by a commission of representatives from participating entities that has the full power, control and authority over the affairs, investments and assets of the pools. In addition to the high mark in assets, WISC has also grown to 273 Participants.
Brett Weeden, PMA Vice President – WI Investment Services said, “We are thrilled to have the support of so many local governments and are energized that we are continuing to serve municipalities, special districts, and schools across Wisconsin.”
“With the guidance and oversight of the WISC Commissioners, our services continually evolve to best meet the needs of Wisconsin public entities,” added Chad Trowbridge, WISC Chairman. “We are proud of the work our team is doing and we are incredibly grateful to our Participants for their confidence in us.”
With a strong understanding of local governments’ needs, PMA has established itself as a leading provider of integrated financial solutions to public entities. Michele Wiberg, PMA Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, said “PMA is known for its commitment to serving local governments. Our performance is built around the safety, liquidity and yield that public sector officials depend on and expect, and we look forward to continuing to bring these values to WISC and its Participants.”
